If you need to make a quality translation, you can use an online translator. Today there are 2 main translators – but they have their own peculiarities that you need to know. They are completely different!
To make it easy for you to choose a program to translate text from any language – you need to understand the purpose of your translation.
You may have different goals, for example: You need to translate some document or a legal agreement or official documents – these are all different purposes. For some texts, you need a very accurate and high-quality translation.
Let’s look at the 2 main translators:
1- google translate (you can just type it into a search engine and it will come first) – it’s one of the most popular and effective translators in the world – it’s very recognizable and people often use it.
But it has a very big disadvantage: unfortunately, Google has long stopped developing this service on the appropriate level and the technology translation itself (to date, Google uses outdated technology translation)
But it is the Google Translator that most people use. The level and quality of the translation is average and if you need to translate something correctly and convey your thoughts as accurately as possible, google translator is not for you – it is a translator for personal use.
Example: if you need to translate a legal document, google translator is not the right tool for you. You need more professional translation tools.
The pluses are its minimalistic design, fast and smooth operation and it’s free. It does a great job with its domestic type tasks. You can use it with minimal internet access and from the cheapest smartphone.
2 – Deepl – This is a relatively new translator, but it has a similar interface and very great prospects!
The advantages: this translator provides professional translation at a very high level – not compared to Google Translator.
It’s very simple: this translator was created relatively recently and it is designed with all the latest technology and translation features.
Including the use of AI (artificial intelligence) – that is – the translator itself learns and improves the quality of his translation. It is a robot that improves itself every second.
Of disadvantages: the biggest disadvantage – it is paid. But there is a free version – it is absolutely enough. But the way it translates – really worth the money. But the free version has no restrictions and you can use it for free.
The interface as very simple as Google. But again, the quality of translation is at the highest level! It’s worth your while.
And it’s important to note that Deepl is constantly working on their product, which means you’ll get a higher quality translation every time. I’m not advertising this service, I’m just telling you about my experience of using it!
On the downside, Deepl Translator has a much smaller language library than Google Translator, but all the major languages are there and they are added and the service itself is also developing.
As a result, everyone who tries to use Deepl instead of Google goes to Deepl. Maybe google will notice this and develop its own translation technology, because it’s not enough to make a product – you need to support and develop it.
I personally choose Deepl translator myself. But sometimes I use google to have an alternative version of the translation.

For example, DeepL translated 119 different paragraphs using translations from DeepL, Google, Amazon and Microsoft. They then asked professional translators to do a blind test and evaluate the translations.
However, the way DeepL presents this data is a bit complicated. The data does not include situations where translations were rated equally well (or equally). It presents the data only for situations where one translation was rated better than the others by professional translators.
But in these specific situations (where one set of translations was noticeably better than the others, not just the same/identical), DeepL was the service that had the best translations most of the time for the language pairs they tested:

Finally, based on general opinion on the Internet, most people find DeepL translations to be slightly more accurate and natural. This is especially true for European language pairs, as we mentioned above.
In general, people praise DeepL for having more natural-sounding translations and working better with local idioms and slang. That is, DeepL conveys the actual meaning and tone of the content a little better, rather than just verbatim translations that may be technically correct but still sound a little clunky or out of context.
